Team Dynamics also have, little known, experience in historic racing. They have built, run and won numerous times over the years with both self-developed and customer race cars. These cars have been sold to investors and historic race car owners around the world.
Currently the team are racing the latest built Lotus Cortina with a 2nd in build. “Huw” is currently racing in a select number of races through 2023 with the new build planned to be out by the end of the season.
Goodwood 80th Members Meeting
Dynamics finish on the podium at Goodwood Members Meeting
The dynamic duo of three times BTCC Champions Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden were out in force at the 80th running of the Goodwood Members meeting in the recently built white and gold Team Dynamics Lotus Cortina.
The weather had been appalling on the lead up to the weekend, meaning any off track excursions would almost certainly involve a trip to the barriers. But for qualifying the weather was beautiful with the sun shining all weekend.
The two driver qualifying on Saturday saw the overall time of Matt and Flash put them 4th overall for the race on Sunday.
The race itself was a frenetic affair with Matt getting boxed in early on and losing a handful of places to find himself in 9th position at the driver change. Flash was immediately on the pace and forging his way through the field. But the real action would all happen in the dying stages of the race where Gordon did a terrific overtake, on an aisling competitor, to take 4 places in one move on the final lap and bring the car over the line – in its first competitive appearance – on the podium in 3rd place, an awesome result for the team, drivers and car.
